From I was a kid, I’ve listened to Eddie Arnold with a great deal of pleasure.  He was truly one of the best performers in country music.

Back before he was big, he was playing at a theater in California; and needed a second guitar.  My dad, George Morgan, played backup for him; and the audience kept calling him back for encore after encore, until he and the band simply couldn’t play anymore.  Who knew?
